Privacy and policies

Effective October 12, 2026. What we collect, what we do with it, our text messaging terms, and the terms of an intro flight.

Who we are

Time Builders LLC, doing business as Cornerstone Flight Academy, at Redlands Municipal Airport (KREI), 1745 Sessums Dr, Suite 180, Redlands, CA 92374. Phone (909) 330-4748, email info@flycornerstone.com.

This notice covers flycornerstone.com and the member portal. The Plane or Treat giveaway has its own notice, linked from its page.

What we collect, and when

  • The inquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, how you would like to be contacted, what you are interested in, and anything you write in the notes. The form runs on JotForm, which stores the submission and passes it to us.
  • The intro flight deposit: your name, email address and phone number from Stripe's checkout page, and the fact that you paid. Stripe handles your card; we never see the card number.
  • The newsletter box in the footer: your email address.
  • Text messages: your mobile number and the messages you send us, when you text us or opt in to our text messages.
  • A member account: your name, email address and phone number; your pilot certificate, medical certificate, flight review and insurance details, with the images you upload; your bookings, flight records and invoices; and, for students, the training eligibility the office records. Your instructor sees the records for the flights they teach; the office sees them all.
  • Nothing automatically: the site runs no analytics and sets no advertising cookies. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, such as the internet address a request came from, which we do not use to identify anyone.

The site and the portal are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

How we use it

  • To answer your inquiry the way you asked to be contacted.
  • To schedule and run your flight, and to text or email you about it.
  • To run your membership: bookings, aircraft checkouts, currency and eligibility checks, invoices and payments.
  • To keep the flight, training and billing records the FAA, our insurer and the tax rules require.
  • To send the newsletter, if you signed up for it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who else handles it

  • Supabase stores the portal's data and runs its sign-in.
  • Netlify hosts the website.
  • JotForm runs the inquiry form.
  • Stripe takes the intro flight deposit.
  • Resend sends our emails.
  • Google provides the map on the homepage; Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.
  • Your instructor is an independent contractor who sees the records of the people they fly with.

Each of these handles your information only to provide its service to us.

Data sharing

  • Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
  • Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

How we protect it

  • Access to your information is limited to authorized employees and contractors who need it to do their work, such as the office and the instructor you fly with.
  • Everyone who handles it is required to keep it confidential.
  • We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use or disclosure: the member portal requires a sign-in, each member can see only their own records, and data is encrypted in transit.

We do not share your personal information with anyone outside the purposes described in this notice.

Cookies and browser storage

The public site sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking. If you sign in to the member portal, your browser keeps a sign-in token so you stay signed in; signing out removes it. The homepage map is loaded from Google and is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Your choices

  • Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Members can see and change their own details in the portal.
  • To see, correct or delete what we hold from an inquiry or the newsletter, email info@flycornerstone.com.
  • Flight, training and billing records are kept for as long as the regulations and our insurance require, even after a membership ends.

Intro flight terms

An intro flight is $120 in all: a $75 deposit paid online books the flight and covers the airplane and fuel, and you pay your instructor their $45 at the airport on the day. Your instructor is an independent certificated flight instructor and is the pilot in command for the whole flight.

After you pay the deposit we text you to set the day and time. Plan on about an hour: roughly 15 minutes on the ground, a 30-minute flight, and a debrief.

  • Need a different day? Text us at least 48 hours before your flight and we reschedule at no charge. With less than 48 hours' notice the flight cannot be rescheduled, and if you don't show up, the deposit is not refunded.
  • If the weather is not safe to fly, we reschedule at no charge and your deposit carries over to the new date.
  • Bring a photo ID. Your instructor will tell you if conditions on the day call for anything else.
  • If you decide to keep flying with us, the flight logs as dual instruction toward a pilot certificate.
